Diana North BA(hons), MA, MISM


Diana North is a freelance Soprano, Singing and Piano Teacher and Conductor. She has been performing extensively in the Surrey and Hampshire area for over twenty years. Diana completed her Masters degree in Music Performance in 2007 at the University of Chichester. She currently studies with Robin Pieta and has attended workshops in Acting for Opera with Norman Cooley, Sung Italian with Melofonetica and Singing in French with Florence Daguerre de Hureaux. 

Diana has sung with many groups over the years. Her performance highlights include: Soprano Soloist in Faure’s Requiem and Vaughan Williams’ Mass in G Minor with the London Cantata Choir; singing extracts from Simon Boccanegra, Madama Butterfly and Carmen with Opera Foundry in their Composer and Language concerts; Soprano Soloist in Vivaldi’s Gloria and Magnificat with the Vivaldi Singers; and playing Annina/Flora in La Traviata and Suor Dolcina with Secret Opera. 

In 2017, Diana is looking forward to working on the roles of The Contessa (Le Nozze di Figaro) and Florin Tosca (Tosca) and adding a Music Theory Workshop to her portfolio. Diana lives in Lindford, Hampshire.

Lizzie Hales BA(hons), MMus


Lizzie has recently gained her MMus in Music specialising in conducting at the University of Surrey. In November 2014 she conducted ‘Thoroughly Modern Millie’ for Petersfield Theatre Group and her next MD project is ‘Sister Act’ for the Haslemere Players in March 2016. Lizzie sings alongside Diana with the Vivaldi Singers and has sung solos in Mozart’s Solemn Vespers, Vivaldi’s Magnificat, Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and West Side Story. Lizzie works as a singing and piano teacher and is currently choreographing Oklahoma for Farnham’s FAOS. She has also trained with West End Masterclass.
